FAQ

We offer secure storage for boats, cars, camping trailers, caravans, motorhomes (RVs), tandem trailers, and large vehicles (under 5 tonnes).

Please note: Surrounding roads (Tower Hill Drive and Heales Road beyond Tillys Road) have 5-tonne load restriction.

Lara Storage also offers self storage solutions using a provided 20-foot shipping container, ideal for household items.

Please provide the following information when moving your item/s in:

  • A current Driver Licence (issued by an official body in Australia); and
  • Proof of ownership of the vehicle (e.g. Registration document), if applicable.

An electronic version of these documents will be stored in our system for future reference.

Absolutely nothing! All rentals are continuous until we are advised otherwise.

Our system will automatically generate and email your next invoice 14 days prior to the end of your current paid period.

Pay this invoice by the due date, and your space rental will continue, and you avoid a Late Payment Fee.

To end your rental, simply inform us and remove your vehicle (and other personal items) by the end of your current period.

Please contact us in advance (24 hours notice preferred), so we can ensure someone is on-site to unlock the storage yard for you.

All vehicles must be parked in their allocated space, ensuring no one else can use your space if you temporarily remove the vehicle from the yard.

Transfer to another space may be possible with prior arrangement.

We take the security of our property incredibly seriously. Lara Storage yard is behind our home, hidden from street view. We have a comprehensive security upgrade underway, and always strongly recommend securing your vehicle using locks and similar devices.

Please inform us as soon as possible if you’re leaving. This allows us to stop automatic billing for the next rental period, and to allocate space to a waiting customer.

The vehicle and personal items must be removed from the storage yard before the end of your rental period.
